| Progress Book for Parents and Students |
| Check these tips and suggestions to access your Parent or Student account. |

NOTE: Adams and Jackson will be piloting Parental and Student Access to Progress Book in April 2005. SHS will offer access possibly by the end of the year. Our plan is to introduce Progress Book at the elementary buildings in 2005-2006.

Begin at the Sandusky District Website: www.scs-k12.net |

Select "Resources" from the top of the page. |
 |

Select "Parent Resources" from the link on the left. |
| |

| 4. |
Select the "Progress Book Access for Parents and Students link. on the Parent Resources page. |

Login using the username and password supplied to you by the school. |

| 6. |
This is the Home screen. |
| |
 |
| The Home screen is your connection to student information. Click on any of the links in the middle of the page or the corresponding tabs at the top to see more details. |

Select "My Account" |
| |
 |
| |
The e-mail address is entered here on the contact information screen. Once entered, your user name and password can be automatically e-mailed to you if you forget them. Press "SAVE" after you enter your COMPLETE email address. |

| Next change your user name and password to something easier to remember. |

Select the link "Change Your Login Name" found on the links on the left to change the user name to something easier to remember. |

Select the link "Change Your Password" also found on the links on the left to edit the password. |
| 10. |
The final link, "Link Additional Children to this Account" is available for those parents with more than one child enrolled in the district. (Currently only Adams and Jackson are ready to issue accounts to parents. SHS may begin this process by the end of the school year.) |

All of the students in the family can be associated on one account by clicking on Link Additional Children. They can then all be listed within one sign on. |

| Take some time to look at the other tabs at the top of the screen. |

Select "Messages" |

| The message screen will show all messages posted for the current day. |
| |

Select "Homework" |
| |
 |
| |
You can click on any date to see the corresponding homework. |
| |
| 14. |
Select "Progress" |
| |
 |
| |
The Progress screen will list the 3 most recent assignments and give an average for each class. Note the "View more grades" link which will list all grades in that subject. |

The Attendance screen will list the date and code for all attendance entries regarding the student. |

Select "Teachers" |
| |
The Teachers screen will display all of the teachers for the student and list the courses with each. The e-mail address for the teacher will display if the teacher has entered it from the Grade Book screen.

Troubleshooting
Having trouble using the website?:
Your must Internet browser must be setup to accept cookies.
Check to see if you have a security feature blocking access.
Did you type the address correctly? https://parentaccess.noeca.net
Having password or user name problems?
Capital letters were required. Did you did not use them?
If you have lost your login name or password. Go to the website listed above. Select Sandusky and click on FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD or FORGOT YOUR USER NAME. Your password/user name will be emailed back if you registered it in MY ACCOUNT.
If you don't have an email address, or if you did not enter in your "My Account" information, please call the building principal and a new password will be issued to you. |
