| About Our School |
| The original Madison School was constructed on the corner of Lawrence and West Madison Streets in 1872. Our current school was built at the same location as a federal government project and completed in 1939. Our multi-purpose room was constructed on part of our building’s playground in 1991. Madison School currently serves approximately 235 students in grades K-6. With the addition of a computer lab in the summer of 2003, all rooms are fully utilized for instruction. Using carts on each of our 3 floors, our art and music teachers “travel” to each classroom to provide instruction. |
